Mmmm, sushi
Sep. 28th, 2006 08:01 amI'm tired. I feel tired. I look tired -- this has been confirmed by a couple of people in the office. Yeah, someone asked if I feel well lately, because I look like hell. Tactful. No, I've just been getting home late every night, then dragging myself out of bed at the butt-crack of dawn.
What was my excuse for being out after curfew last night? Sushi. Kawasaki's in Fells Point has reopened, so yay! Avocado salad (avocado, shredded radish, little bit of soy sauce dressing and sesame seeds); edamame; dragon roll (avocado and shrimp tempura). Yes, I was craving avocados. Mmmm. My stomach is rumbling just thinking about it, which is strange since normally the idea of sushi for breakfast is revolting.
Not getting much reading done. Finished Empire's Workshop, stalled on End of Iraq, am reading Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods (YA paranormal) on the commute.
I thought of a good Thursday Thirteen, but am having a hard time getting to 13. The topic -- songs I associate with people or places. A couple of people are easy to assign to songs, but others, when I think of music, I get a clashing cacophony of songs.
