And I'm off to read shortly.

First, though, at the library, I paged straight to the back of Into the Storm. Not to read the ending of the story, but to read the Sam & Jules short story. I love Jules as a character, and can't wait to read about his HEA.

Random non-book comment: there are times when I rue the day I found Trinny and Susannah (of BBC's What Not to Wear) on TV. Used to be that if something fit and I liked the color, then I bought it without too much worry about whether it was the best shape/style for my body. Now, post-WNTW, can't do that any longer. Yes, the pants fit but the pockets draw attention to my belly and hips -- put them back. Yes, the top fits, but the sleeves are too short and the neckline is too high -- a lower, deeper scoop would be better, along with 3/4 length sleeves. GAH! My clothes shopping tolerance (always low) isn't high enough for this!

Well, so? How was the short story?

I love Trinny and Susannah (though I cringe when I see the prices paid for some of those clothes... I could stock an entire clothing store here with that money!). I will always thank them for helping me see the light about pleated trousers! ;-)

I enjoyed the short story a great deal! It answered a question that popped into my mind after reading the end of Breaking Point.

Finished ITS yesterday, and am mulling it over now. Liked it but didn't LOVE it.

I've either been ruined or re-styled by what not to where and definitely feel your pain. good news? i gave away all my jeans that tapered. i already have a huge arse, no need to draw more attention to it.

sorry about no caps but the cat is sick of waiting for me to go to bed so she's curled up on my legs so i can only type with one hand. can't disturb the little miss.

::sigh:: I remember in middle school and high school when ONLY tapered jeans were cool -- and they were matched with thick socks worn just so. If the ankles weren't tapered enough, you rolled them. If only we had known better . . .
