jmc_bksSome days, the morning really is a short hand message for how the day will go. This morning, my left contact felt like it had sand caught underneath. Took it out, cleaned it, put it back in, still couldn't wear it. Forgot that I stepped on my glasses the other day. I've been walking around wearing an old pair I found last time I cleaned out my medicine chest -- prescription is at least 7 years old. And the day never really improved . . .
Until someone I worked with on a huge project recently stopped by my office this evening to say thank you. With a bouquet of flowers. It is so nice to be appreciated.
