1. THE LORD OF THE RINGS- J.R.R. Tolkien. I sat through all three movies. Does that count?
2. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD- Harper Lee. Love this book. And the movie.
3. PRIDE AND PREJUDICE- Jane Austen. Like P&P, but prefer Persuasion
4. The "Harry Potter" series- J.K. Rowling. Came late to the series, but like it./
5. JANE EYRE- Charlotte Bronte
6. THE HANDMAID'S TALE- Margaret Atwood. I’ve started and put this book down at least a half dozen
times. Finally finished, but I'm not sure it was worth the effort.
7. THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY- Douglas Adams
8. 1984- George Orwell. High school reading list, but the details are hazy in my memory.
