Good bread

A new bakery opened in Columbia recently. Great American Harvest or Great Harvest or something like that. They are a franchise. First encountered them in crunchy granola territory - Madison, Wisconsin. Loved the Door County Cherry Walnut bread and the cinnamon bread. Would bring it back whenever I visited the Biochemist, and my roommates would devour it. I'm not expecting the cherry walnut bread, because that seemed like probably a local variation. Stopped in yesterday and tried a slice of the cinnamon raisin chip bread -- good, but not great because I don't like cooked raisins...or any raisins, really. I'll endure them in carrot cake if I must, but otherwise I refuse to eat them. Ended up buying a chocolate mint cookie and a boule of Garlic Cheddar bread. Yum. Had a slice for breakfast. Double yum.
I'm thinking that I need to see Inside Man for a variety of reasons, not least of which are Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster and Clive Owen. But Stephen Hunter made a snide comment about actors in masks in his review for the Post, so now I need to go so I can compare Owens's masked bank-robber to V, the anti-hero.
