I downloaded a bunch of samples to the Hairball (my Kindle), but ended up deleting most of them because they didn't appeal.

1.   Life, Over Easy by K.A. Mitchell, contemporary m/m romance.  I enjoyed this book a lot, but haven't been organized enough to write a review or a fangirly post about it.  That's just sad.  But if you like damaged guys who manage to get their shit together (mostly), and diving, and a little bit of paranormal, you should check this one out.

2.  Driftwood by Harper Fox, contemporary m/m romance.  Wrote about this one here.

3.  Fair Game by Josh Lanyon, contemporary m/m romantic suspense. Very good stand alone mystery. Guessed whodunit fairly early but still impressed with the build up to the final scene. The relationship bit was interesting, since see it all through one POV and his is rather skewed; don't realize until fairly late in the book that he was kind of the asshole in the relationship.

4. Rusty Nail by J.A. Konrath. Contemporary mystery. Enjoyable enough. A lot of label dropping, which makes Jack's clothing choices stand out compared to her car choice. Mentioned here briefly.

5. Infamous by Suzanne Brockmann. Contemporary with thin romantic suspense and a paranormal aspect. Written about here here.

6. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. YA futuristic dystopian fantasy. Still thinking about this one.

7.  Chain Male by Angelia Sparrow.  M/m BDSM.  DNF -- the writing was flat and un-engaging, narrator was a cliche, other character was not well-defined or dawn.  Eh.
