More snow to welcome the New Year

The meteorology report from Chsrm City:

When I woke up at 4am (why?), there was nothing fallling from the sky. When I left the house less than 2 hours later, it was snowing like crazy and 1/2 inch had accumulated. It's "hard" snow, maybe with a little ice, because it bounced and tapped as it hit my umbrella. But temperature-wise, it's warmer today than the past couple of days. Less wind, too.
