Another weather report
Mar. 13th, 2006 01:12 pmOkay, the weather is freaking me out. It's supposed to hit 81 degrees here today. All of the windows in my house are open, and I drove around this morning with my car windows rolled down. I got too much sun on Saturday -- sitting in my back yard for an hour! in March! So I'm a little pink in the face and my upper chest. But I'm going to go eat my lunch in the park anyway. Got my hat and my sunscreen and a left over pig in a blanket (sausage wrapped in a pancake), so all I need to do now is find a book to read and I am set.
I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up in time only for the last five minutes of Grey's Anatomy. Anybody got any spoilers to share?
And my tax returns are finished! Happy dance!

Grey's
Date: 2006-03-13 06:46 pm (UTC)George gave himself a stupid haircut as a way of "cutting off all the bad feelings," and he and Burke are bonding and freaking Cristina out. Not just b/c George is living with them, but she's afraid Burke will start to think George is better than her professionally.
George helps out the cute ortho doc who's into him. Their patient is a hockey goalie whom they told he couldn't play an important game when they discharged him. Hours later, he's back, having *cut off his finger* to play the game, thus destroying any chance to play hockey ever again.
Bailey's back to work, only the nursery was full up, so she stuck Cristina with baby Bailey. Cue humor segment of the show. And boy, when George charmed the baby right from Cristina's arms in front of Burke...yow.
Mere and McDreamy are "just friends" but Mere won't tell him she slept with George and McDreamy won't say whether Addison knows he and Mere are friends. Mere finally tells him about George, and you could see he wanted to be upset too, but instead he put on a friendly face and told her to do what he did: corner George in the elevator. So she does, but George doesn't want to hear anything. But she seems happy that she finally got to have her say.
Addison's latest patient has a husband who thinks Addy looks like a young Catherine Deneuve. She's flattered, and basks in the attention, b/c McDreamy ain't givin' her any attention. Bailey tells her not to be an idiot, and she seems to realize Bailey was right once her patient's baby is born, and the guy only has eyes for his little family again.
Meanwhile, McDreamy's patient is Natalie Cole, and she initially doesn't want surgery for her brain aneurysm b/c it taught her to appreciate life and gave her a better marriage. She gets talked into it, and McDreamy realizes that he needs to treat Addison better (you probably saw this last scene).
Izzy's still mooning over heart patient Denny, and Alex tries to throw a monkey in the works by telling Denny he and Izzy have a "thing" and telling Izzy she shouldn't get so personally involved with a patient. Whoops, Alex, all you did was piss her off and make her cling that much more to Denny.
And I think that's about it! :-)
