Another Rocky Horror Picture Show?

The Biochemist mentioned tonight that MTV is planning to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show. While I'm not the huge fan of the movie she is, I've been to the midnight screening a few times, seen a couple of live productions, and know how to do the Time Warp. And while I'm not entirely boggled by the idea of a remake, I'm not sure who could possibly replace Tim Curry as Dr. N. Furter. (Although I've heard that he wouldn't mind being replaced as that pop culture icon.)

Gary Oldman! That man can be anyone and be awesome at being that anyone. Although he is a bit short (and maybe a bit old). I think. Maybe he's not...internet says he's 5'9". Then again he'd be in stilettos for most of the film. Ben Stiller could be good, and he can use his Dad to play the Professor! Maybe not. Sasha Baron Cohen would be...ridiculous, sorry for even thinking. Hard Question! Would they have to be British? Joaquin Phoenix has that haughty air about him, but I wonder if he'd be willing to have his eyebrows waxed and shaped?

WAIT! Brandon Fraser! I'd pay twice to see him in a garter!
