What? Please to be 'splaining?
Jan. 28th, 2008 03:14 pmI have two fairly large orders pending at Amazon. One is for early in the year releases, with a delivery date of mid-February. The other is for later releases, with a delivery date of early May. One of the books in the early bundle was Meljean Brook's Demon Night, which I'm quite anxious for after reading a big excerpt. But I noticed today when checking my account (posting a seller review for a used book, thxmuchly), that Demon Night wasn't part of the larger bundle of books to be delivered in early February. For some reason, it was all by its lonesome, with a shipping date of March 25th. Huh? What? Please to be 'splaining, Amazon. Because I am not inclined to wait nearly two months for it.
On Rough Canvas: still gathering my thoughts. Was totally sucked into the story and loved it. But also a little frustrated by some of it, when I take a step back and think objectively.
On Shadow Marriage: holy moly, is this book full of Romancelandia cliches. I'm a little embarrassed that my 16 year old self loved it so much.

Date: 2008-01-28 08:40 pm (UTC)Hopefully, that's just an estimated date (six-eight weeks) for re-stocking if they sold through their pre-order and have to wait for more from the distributors. If it is, I'm sure they'll get more long before that time.
