There was rejoicing across Packerland on Saturday, and then again on Sunday. The Boy Uncle called before the game to wish my team luck -- he roots for Da Bears and wishes that Favre had been traded there instead of GB. I think he was probably scared to call me after kick off, because Bad Things started happening immediately. I suppose I'm a bad fan -- when the Seahawks were up 14-0 only two minutes into the game, I was sure that Favre was going to do something really boneheaded. But he didn't. And they came back and took control of the game.
I've said this before -- I think there must be something religious about Lambeau in January. Beyond holy moley, I'm freezing to the seat religious, I mean. There was one camera pan of the stadium in the snow that was gorgeous. And another shot of Favre from the back, arms outstretched, gesturing in the snow flurries, that was awesome as well. From the waist up, so it wasn't even that I was ogling.
And yesterday. I know that the Giants weren't defending the middle for the most of the game, but Romo threw into double coverage. Eh. Okay, since it means there won't be another trip to Dallas in the Packers' future :)
And I posted over at Readers Gab. Eh. I didn't really get to the point of what I wanted to say. I'm still not sure what I was trying to get to. Maybe I'll figure it out and repost.
And Andy Harris, candidate for Congress, he must be a Repub. Because he's running ads against Gilchrist and Popkin and labeling them as "liberal"...which is apparently a bad thing.
