Didja miss me? I bet not, which is the wondrous anonymity of the online world :)

I have a bazillion emails to read and calls to return, and class starts tonight (Arabic IV, yay me!), plus I haven't checked anyone else's blog for a week. Did I miss any exciting Romance-blog brouhahas? Or was it just the same old stuff?

Stuff I did: self-tour of the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory in Hyannis; whale watching in Provincetown; day trip to Nantucket; ate much clam chowder and several lobster rolls, along with some marvelous scallops and a glorious oatmeal-cashew-raisin cookie; rode a bike all around -- ouch to my bum, but I'm reminded how much I love bike-riding. I took some photos which I won't inflict on people (unless they ask, which is what I do in real life, too).

I also read many, many books while lounging on the beach and the deck. I will inflict my opinions about these books on you poor abused readers, though. Reviews or just opinions will be posted as I have time, but first -- I read Kate Rothwell's ebook release Knight's Challenge from Samhain Publishing and really liked it a lot. Go buy a copy right now!

More later. And maybe even a Smart Bitches Day post for Beth if I get to it!

PS: The Biochemist is an evil EVOL woman. She has me totally hooked on Supernatural now. I had a serious WTF moment while reading Nevermore, and I think I may have to order the DVDs because Netflix is too freakin' slow.

I freaking LOVE provincetown. And last week was a fine week to be there, wasn't it?

Lucky you.

It was gorgeous last week. And it rained like crazy on Saturday, making it easier for me to pack up and head home :)

I *loved* Provincetown. The people-watching was crazy, the beach and dunes beautiful...a little expensive, though.

Glad you had such a good time! And I always like to look at pictures. ;)

And touring a potato chip factory sounds awesome! Did you get fresh samples? Hmmmm, potato chips. I'm hungry.

I'm not sure how fresh they were, but I did get samples :) My new favorite flavor is salt and pepper, which sounds strange but tastes good.

At one point in the assembly line process, a bunch of chips fell on the floor -- when they were moving from the centrifuge (getting rid of excess oil) to the elevator for seasoning or salting. All I could do was look at those poor, forlorn chips, wasted on the floor and mourn their needless sacrifice.

Now I'm totally homesick, as I'm from Plymouth. *sigh*

I'm glad you had fun and got lots of reading done. Sounds like a perfect vacation.

Good to have you back.

I didn't realize! I have a bag of salt & pepper flavored Cape Cod Potato Chips that I can send your way if you're longing for the salt and crunch. (Do you think they'd survive without being crushed?) Also have some salt water taffy -- including cinnamon!
