HP spoilers

Jane has posted a link to a spoiler to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. A hacker claims to have gotten access to the publisher's network and posted spoilers. I'm not including a link, because that would be too much temptation for me. My mouse hovered over the link over at DA before moving away.

I'm not reading much romance lately. I've been trying to get through the stack of magazines that was accumulating in my living room, plus I got sidetracked reading HP fanfic. ( My recs so far: )

Who makes these decisions?

Okay, Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Justice is available online at eBookwise for $18.04, which is a considerable discount from the hardback price. But why is this the only book of the any of her two Kushiel series available? Is it one long series? Or two shorter series set in the same world? I would argue two trilogies. One may read and understand Scion and Justice without having read Kushiel's Dart, Choice and Avatar but I don't think Justice stands well alone. Why e-publish the second book of a trilogy without e-pubbing the first? Or the 5th book of a 6 book series without 1-4?
