Um, in order to make gingerbread men cookies, one needs a gingerbread man-shaped cookie cutter...so we had to go get one. The grocery store was INSANE. Not going back, no matter what is missing.
While The Chemist brewed Christmas ale, The Biochemist and I got a pedicure and picked up the ingredients for dinner. And cookie cutters.
Our gingerbread house is teetering on collapse because we've eaten one wall and one roof panel. I was tempted to buy another kit while we were at the grocery store, thinking that now that we're experience gingerbread builders, it'd turn out better. But the bakery was out of kits -- we could wait 10 minutes for another, but my tolerance for rude shoppers was at zero, so we'll have to make do with the gingerbread men.
Finished Chris Owen's 911, which I enjoyed. Liked it better than the other Owen M/M romance that I read earlier this week, and I'm thinking about why. Primarily, I liked the way the conflict was handled better. I suppose it was easier in 911, because it is external, something outside the relationship, unlike Bareback.
