Books are winging their way to my house

People are bugfuck crazy sometimes.  Is there a full moon?  Or have people gone off their meds?

I picked up a copy of Kalen Hughes' debut, Lord Sin.  As I've mentioned (ad nauseum), I'm not a big historical fan, but I appreciate Hughes' thoughtful comments at SBTB, so I picked up a copy when I saw it.  And the bargain price $3.99 (or $4.99?) didn't hurt either.

And my copies of No Humans Involved (Kelley Armstrong) and The Crusades Through Arab Eyes (Amin Maalouf) are on their way to me.

I also bought this book as well. I think I had heard good things about it. As for the train wreck fiasco going around...I've modified my thoughts because who are any of these people to me. However, Ms. Baumbach has my empathy. I don't buy RT, never read it and don't really attend the conferences. And I didn't read all of it. Gah. Waste of time. I have other things to do. Like now. Later. Have a good weekend.
