A reasonable proposal

Just caught the rerun of The Daily Show from last week in which Jon Stewart makes fun of the Shrub's reasonable proposal, which was the proposal that he proposed. Am I the only one who felt the need to go read Swift's A Modest Proposal after watching that sketch?

Tell me that Bush didn't actually call something a reasonable proposal with a straight face. ::sigh:: The irony is just never-ending.

Reasonable -and- rational
