Huddled inside, getting warm

jmc_bksIt isn't snowing, that stopped last night. Instead, frozen stuff, little pellets of ice, are falling. Tink tink tink, it bounces off the roof and windows.
Work is opening 2 hours late with liberal leave, so I figured I would use public transportation rather than trying to drive on the ice. [Yes, I'm an ice wimp. It's safer for me not to drive.] Except I nearly killed myself walking to the bus stop -- looks like snow, but it is ICE! Then waited for a freakin' hour -- no bus! I think it's a sign that I should stay home.
I hate using my leave to just sit around at home. And I have work to do.
But at least I have an excellent book to occupy my time. :D
