I attended a Slumber Party tonight at a friend's house. Not a slumber party. Check out slumberparty dot com. It was entertaining. Some really tacky lingerie, along with some that was...not. And there was this really cool massage candle: you light it, then after it melts, the oil/lotion is used for a massage. Somehow, it gets warm enough to use as a massage creme without getting hot enough to burn.

Lots of alcohol was consumed before the party began, more even that is usually consumed at a regular party. They're just toys, not public group sex, why the need to alter consciousness before looking at or playing with them? One woman, girl really, was silent until the beer kicked in, then obnoxiously loud. She shared her confusion about a swing with us all: what do you mean, a swing? for sex? and do you really hang this from the ceiling? Uh, yeah. I couldn't decide if she was just young or inhibited or what.

Home in time to catch an episode of QaF. I love George's description of Brian: the love child of James Dean and Ayn Rand. :snort:

True :) But the character of Brian Kinney embodies the James Dean be beautiful, live fast, die young attitude of James Dean, and some of the objectivist philosophy of Rand -- rational self-interest and a whole-hearted support of consensual laissez-faire capitalism.

I have several of them from various vendors. The Slumber Party/Tasteful Treasures ones are the best because they don't get too hot. Some that you can buy have a higher melting point and, well, unless you enjoy a little pain with your hot wax, they're TOO hot. But I highly recommend the ones from the toy distributors, they make awesome massage oil!

Tthe saleslady lit one, then passed it around for us to try. Massaged well, smelled delicious. It was probably one of the more popular items last night....along with a couple of the books.
