Early gift

My birthday gift from Mom arrived early: two new bookcases. So I spent most of yesterday evening rearranging furniture and books in the spare room. Sadly, the new bookcases are full and I still have two boxes of books. The old paint-splashed shelf that was in my bed room as a child is now in the basement, where it will hold the books and paperwork that aren't important enough to keep upstairs but are too important (to my pack-rat mind) to throw away.
And you know, I found a couple more duplicate books as I was sorting and shelving. :head-desk: It happens less often now that I track what I read and buy in a spreadsheet, but still....
On a TV note, did anyone catch the Ted Koppel special on Iran last night? I meant to watch it, but forgot in the midst of book-arranging. I'm sure The Discovery Channel will rerun it, but I'm curious as to other opinions.

Date: 2006-11-21 08:11 am (UTC)Happy Belated Birthday!!
Bookshelves are alway a perfect gift. That or gift certificates for books. Or chocolate. Or cash.
I haven't seen any 'serious' TV in a while.
Cindy
Thanks!
