Hi, Cindy. I grew up in a rural area. Snow was pretty but didn't really stop things. You just shoveled out. The problem in the city (IMO) is that there are so many people, cars, and houses, and no really good place to pile the snow you've shoveled without piling it in front of someone else's house or blocking in their car. Makes for testy neighbors.
I'm gearing myself up to go shovel a path to my car. I don't need to go anywhere, fortunately, but don't want to get frozen in until everything melts some time in May :)
