Gone To Soon

jmc_bksGot stuck behind a herd of slow-moving tourons today. Several wearing tees that read "Gone To Soon" across the back. While idling behind them, I tried to figure out where "Soon" was supposed to be. Preposition, right? Only to realize that the rest of the design was a stylized photo and dates. Okay, a memorial shirt for a friend/family.
Except "to" should be "too" in that case.
That kind of typo makes me cringe for the designer, the printer and wearer. The person being memorialized is beyond caring, but it makes me a little sad on his behalf, too.
