If I had paid hard cover prices for the book, I might have been a little less thrilled with it. ($6 vs. $24 does make a difference in my perspective of a book.)
I haven't read the Irene Adler series, nor have a read many Victoria-set mystery/romances, so it didn't seem all that wallpaperish to me. Are there others that you would recommend as better?
