Nando's

A while back, I asked my colleague from South Africa about traditional South African food.  Her response was that there are a couple of things that she thinks of as typically SA, but no SA cuisine per se.  And then Nando's Peri-Peri opened a restaurant in DC, and she was thrilled.  Her parents were as well; they scheduled a meal there during their next trip.  And now that I've been, I have to agree that the chicken is excellent.  And the iced tea is better than most that I've had at local fast food places.

I have The Bartender Song stuck in my head.  I need for it to GO AWAY.

Meant to post for SBD yesterday, but didn't get a chance.  Will try to post about Julia Spencer-Fleming's I Shall Not Want this evening.
