Where, oh, where are you?
Jan. 7th, 2008 10:59 amMy copy of the first Dante Valentine book has apparently gone to live with the odd socks that I'm missing (including one of the cool green ones with snowmen). It probably is also keeping company with a variety of CD liner notes, pen caps, and pocket-sized calendars; none of these manage to remain in my possession long.
Let me back up a little bit: I refused to let myself buy a copy of the second book when it was released because I hadn't read the first. But I found a copy of books two, three, four and five at the library over the weekend and thought it was time to read the whole series. So when I got home, I started digging through the TBR pile so I could read them in order. Not there. Where is my copy of Working for the Devil? I don't know. I was sure it was on the shelf next to Rachel Caine's Red Letter Bombshells, but nope, not there. I can't start the rest of the series until I've read it. I think I'm going to have to take the TBR book shelves (five of them, double stacked) apart this evening in a methodical manner. Maybe I'll even be ruthless and prune the TBR.
Go check out KristieJ's summary of 2007 in reading.
