Weather woes. My Sunday and Monday plans have been postponed for two weeks (nearest clear spot on the calendar) due to snow and ice possible tomorrow. I'm an ice driving wimp. Better to not be on the road.

ETA: Big, fat, fluffy flakes are falling furiously. Save that five times fast. I'm glad I'm tucked inside in my "reading room", rather than driving into the snow.

My Access Romance post is written. It'll go live on Monday. Unless I change it. Which may happen, since I had four other pieces half written before spilling that one out onto the page. I'm not entirely thrilled with it, but it was the only one that I could get completed -- all the others stalled, because I couldn't figure out my point or needed to do -gasp- research.

I stopped at Target and the bookstore after class today. There wasn't a single book in either store that looked interesting enough to come home with me. [That makes my books search comparable to man-trolling at a bar/club/whatever, doesn't it? ::snickers::] One Kimani Romance book, Just About Sex by Ann Christopher, caught my eye -- Sybil posted a blurb and the cover of her upcoming TPB, which looks quite hot, and I've been looking for a copy of Trouble, which was recommended to me. Except then I read the backblurb -- 34 y.o. virgin sex therapist. Automatic reject! But wait, I've heard good things about Christopher, maybe she can do this. Read the first few pages: the conflict is all about how the hero is pissed at the heroine for writing an answer in an advice column that damages his reputation. He came off as ridiculous and over-litigious, like he was blaming the wrong person (he should be pissed at his ex who wrote in asking the question originally, since it seemed like embarrassing was her intent). Back on the shelf.
