I <3 William H. Macy & Felicity Huffman
Dec. 6th, 2006 12:40 pmI've admired both actors for a while, Macy since first noticing him in ER and then in Fargo, and Huffman since her Sports Night days. But now I love them more -- 'cause I received an email signed by them...via Planned Parenthood's December newsletter.
It's a mass email, reminding donors and members to give for the end of the year and a new marketing push planned by the new PP Pres, Cecile Richards. It is very cool, to me, that two actors are willing to lend their names to PP. I know, it's hip right now to be politically active a la Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Madonna. But PP is so often a lightning rod. A lot of people forget that family planning isn't just about abortion, and PP does much more than that. So, big sloppy kisses for both of you, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman!
