Food TV and book silence
Nov. 19th, 2006 11:04 amI plopped down on the couch this morning as part of my procrastination plan. Lots of things to do, but I'm not sure where to start. Watching the Food Network is always a good distraction. Food p@rn. I feel like I should have gained five pounds just from watching Paula's Southern Thanksgiving. Oyster dressing. Sweet potato balls. I love a cook who thinks an entire stick is "just a little bit of butter." Which reminds me, I need to get the ingredients to make her Pumpkin Gooey Butter cake. It is heart attack inducing, but excellent.
If any blog-hoppers have been coming by looking for reviews, I'm sorry about the lack lately. I'm in a pretty terrible reading slump, and I can't be arsed to write a review about the mediocre stuff I've read. In an effort to get over the slump, I've been re-reading the In Death series...I haven't written any reviews because don't have much to say about Eve Dallas & Roarke that hasn't already been said better elsewhere.
