The kitchen
Oct. 28th, 2006 02:06 pmWell, the new floor and walls look good. But, sadly, there will be no updated cabinets this weekend. The water hook up to the washing machine is leaking -- I'm hoping it is something I can fix by replacing the hose or adding a washer or something equally simple. But if not, then the emergency plumber will be called. All of the kitchen stuff, which was stacked in the living room, is now back in the kitchen but still in boxes. Don't want to unpack until the leak is fixed. ::sigh:: I love my house, but being a renter was so much easier -- when something broke, I called the landlord.
Cindy, after the leak is fixed and the cabinets done and new curtains, etc. are up, the photos will be posted, I promise. How do you do this regularly? I'm so grouchy about living in a construction zone. Literally, I had to go upstairs and pretend there was no downstairs while the work was going on.
ETA: Did the kitchen guy explode a container of baby powder in my house? I keep vacuuming and dusting, but an hour later I find another layer of fine grayish-white dust on everything.
