I don't subscribe to many magazines. I get professional journals that are part of my memberships in various organizations. I used to have Atlantic Monthy delivered, but cancelled it last fall. Love National Geographic, especially the photos, so I still subscribe to that. Otherwise, I buy random magazines from the newstand or read them at the library. But last month I received a copy of Style: Smart Living in Baltimore in the mail. Now, I've never seen this on the newstand, so I assumed that it was a new publication that had been sent to me randomly in an effort to drum up readership. It was nice, but not a magazine I would necessarily pick up on my own. I read it, discarded it, forgot about it. Until yesterday. When another copy arrived in my mailbox. I checked the volume -- not new, because it is Vol 14, so it can't be a promo effort. But who signed me up for this magazine? It didn't come with a gift card, so I have no idea who to thank.
