bujold_fic. If you've read anything set in the Vorkosigan universe, I think you'd be pleased with this one, even though it is off canon (is that the right phrase?), because it works with the established characters without twisting them out of recognition the way that FF often does.

That sentence captures Miles perfectly, IMO.
