How does this work, I wonder. Does it update, or is it historical for the day only?

Once I clicked on the comments the map changed and I figure the 48 places are all on there now - lots of white dots is what I mean - now I'm going to go and load this on my blog ;) I had neo counter but it was only free for so long - then it would cost money and I'm way too cheap - if you see Hamilton, Ontario in that list, it's me.

I thought it reads the server location, not the actual user's location. Don't know anything beyond that though. The one I use updates daily.
