A form letter touting my undergraduate alma mater arrived in the mail today.  It went on and on about a positive mention in a recent article in U.S. News & World Report and other good things, then asked me to keep continued growth in mind when Alumni Development calls next week about my annual donation

Uh, they called last week.

Love the planning/organization there.  Good idea, not great execution.

Didn't hurt in the end though: barring disaster, I donate something every year because I appreciate the undergraduate education I was given.
