1. jack of all trades in a small retail/wholesale seafood store
2. clerk in university admissions office (I answered the phone, did mailings, and gave tours of campus – and I became very good at talking while walking backward)

No other places, which seems kind of insular. I've lived in a bunch of places in Maryland, but it's not that big a state.
