I'm putting a rec in for Kinsale. A more depressing list of novels I've never seen. Someone nominated David Copperfield. Good gawd. And there's a comment wondering why Gabaldon isn't shelved in historical fiction rather than romance. Hmm, maybe because romance sells better? ;-)
