I didn't mean to say that I don't read relationships, or wouldn't read non-canon relationships, more that the wildly unlikely relationships I've read haven't worked for me - so far. But I haven't read enough fanfic to make a proper judgement: I've only really been looking for it over the last couple of weeks. I think I'm just in a pre-HP7 feeding frenzy at the moment, and if I can't have the book, good fanfic is the next best thing.
