No, your opinion did not make me mad. You are entitled to it. I do some things exceedingly well; I do others (including photography and baking) rather poorly. I imagine most people have corresponding strengths and weaknesses. And when I posted my photos on the 'Net, where anyone can view them if they happen across my blog, I opened myself up to your criticism, comments, etc. By publishing a book, an author does the same thing.
Why does my negative opinion anger you? It is an opinion only, to which I am entitled. Would you be less angry if I detailed more specifically what I did not care for in the book?
